Steve Harness

Lead Pastor

Our Lead Pastor, Steve Harness, and his beautiful wife Natalie, have been married over 20 years and are blessed with 3 children. Pastor Steve enjoys reading the scriptures and action novels, spending time with his family, listening to music, drinking Dunkin’ coffee and watching New York Yankees baseball and Memphis Grizzlies basketball.  Natalie loves her family, enjoys Starbucks coffee, and has a passion for musical excellence. Both Steve and Natalie are thankful for each opportunity the Lord has given to them, and they desire to “serve the Lord with gladness” while seeing people saved and advancing in their walk with Jesus. They hope to meet you this Sunday!


The Lord has blessed Pastor Steve with several educational experiences including a Bachelor of Bible (B.B.) at Pensacola Christian College, a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Mid-America Theological Seminary, a Master of Ministry (M.Min.), a Doctor of Philosophy of Religion (PH.D. in Counseling) from Bethany Divinity Seminary, and he is wrapping up studies for a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in apologetics from John Rawlings School of Divinity.. He is also a Board-Certified Christian Counselor (BCPPC) and a SYMBIS facilitator. He is available for special conferences and training sessions.  Please contact the church office to schedule a meeting.

Rob Newcome

Family Pastor

We are glad to have Pastor Rob Newcome at Wilton Baptist Church. Pastor Rob serves as our Family Pastor. He also serves as the Principal of Wilton Baptist Academy. He has over 15 years of day-school teaching experience.  He and his wife, Jennifer have 6 children and several grandchildren. They are cheerfully serving the Lord with us. Pastor Rob follows the Atlanta Braves baseball team, and enjoys playing basketball.  Jennifer loves coffee, and enjoys singing and serving in various ways at Wilton Baptist.


Pastor Rob has a Bachelors of Applied Ministry with a minor in history at Oklahoma Baptist University, an associates degree in education from Brevard Community College, and he has completed the three year degree from Faith Bible Institute.

We have a dynamic team of people serving as Deacons, Teachers, Scatter Groups Hosts, AWANA Leaders, Youth Ministry Leaders, Media Team, Safety Team, Nurseries, Music Ministers, and more!
